I have downloaded this image from net "Gran.Turismo.4.PAL.DVD5.PS2-KLOTEKLAPPERS" (kk-gt4.iso), it says that it's allready patched. I had no problems with burning the image. But problem accured when I tried to play the game, Only first screen was showed (the one saying sony computer entertaiment...., licences...) after that it just freezes. I have matrix infinity chip with 1.39v. Any ideas?
@gravis. I'm afraid that's what you get for downloading a torrent. You really can't rely on anything you get for nothing these days. It's probably a dead copy. On the download site thing, I've been assured by my web host that it should all be up again by tonight (Trouble with the DNS server), so anyone who needs the downsampling file that L-Burna posted, please be patient.
Hi everybody. I followed ps2asker's guide, but I got a problem with PSS Plex. Everytime I start it I got " Run Time Error '429' " Can someone help me with it?
i have tried the different ways and i cant get it. read with dvd decrypter burned and get I/O error before it even starts and tried the ripkit and says unrecognized file when opening the ISO file. then errors out. now i am using winhex to split it.
I use DVD Decrypter for Gt4 Ntsc all i get in the iso is these files: Net(folder) Irx (folder) Epson (folder) System.CNF SCUS_973.28 IOPRP300.IMG GT4.VOL CORE.GT4 i dont see the GT4L1.VOL file at all in the ISO is there something im doing wrong?
can someone list a step by step guide to backing this game up like in the "God of War" thread from start to finish. or is it included in the tool by sonix? thanks
say, would the fact that im using an italian PAL version of gran turismo 4 make any diference? It still has the file sces_517.19
I'm going to acquire a PAL copy, so I can test Sonix' downsampling tool and see what percentage I can get away with for DVD-5. I managed 60% on NTSC version and still had some space to spare. I imagine it's going to be a lot lower for PAL though. @A4L00-05. The European PAL version is the same for anywhere in Europe. Hence the same SCES number.
If anyone wants to have a play with the Sonix downsampling tool, I've put a mirror to it here. http://www.sendmefile.com/00028667
