Looking to upgrade graphics card on an older cpu. Which card is recommended for video quality and geared towards hdtv.[not geared for gaming/3D] The cpu specs: ati 9200 with pentium 4. The slots it has are pci and agp x8. Isn't agp x8 perfered over pci?

    thanks

AGP 8x is certainly better than PCI. Both are inferior to the new technology PCI express 16x, but unless you're gaming, that won't matter much. I'd go with something like an ATI Radeon HD3650, they offer excellent HD video playback and are quite cheap.

Thanks for the info. The features of the ATI Radeon HD 3650 is what Im looking for. The only problem is my slots are pci not pci express. Which would you recommend for using AGP x8 slot?

    thanks
