my home system is a sony vaio 2.88ghz processor. about 6 months ago i bought a geforce 6800GS 256mb AGP*8. it had been working fine up until the past few weeks. where when i play the likes of oblivion(or even any old game such as warcraft 3) the game flickers alot, like lots. black shoots going thoughout the screen really quickly. i took the graphics card out and put it back in, reconnected al cables etc got rid of any dust and such. but no such luck:( is the card bust?? if so how? anyway i can fix this. oh, and ive also downloaded the latest drivers for the card, so it can be to do with that! cheers guys!

it couldnt be anything to do with the gpu temperature level could it? when doing nothing it sits at about 66! then wen i put on oblivion, then quickly quite after 2 mins, i caught the temperature in the yellow of 90. seems unstable?or is this normal? if it aint right could it be the fact that i NEVER turn my pc off, its on 24/7, and basiclaly its jst totally overheated?

if have cpu fan, psu fan & videocard fan than try to put 1 if not 2 more fans in tower. 1 in the back to blow air out & 1 in front to blow air in.
