Hi all i was just asking for a bit of advice, i dont know what garphics card to buy and would like a few pointers.
First off i have an asrock K7S41GX mobo, a 1.6ghz amd semprom processor, 768mb of ddr ram, and a 400w power supply.
Not a very high end system i know going to upgrade computer next year!
I have been looking at geforce 6800gt cards as i want to play games but dont know if it will work in my comp or if it will need extra cooling or if this is the right card to get ect....
    Any advice would be great.
    Thanks for looking!

That is an AGP video slot you have, not the newer PCI-E so that type of card is about the best you can get with the "older" style.
You can buy a regular EVGA brand 6800 and open the pipes up to make it as good as the GT.

They are reasonable in price now. They also need power and use one of the 4 pin connecters same as DVD/CD drive.
