Use it for what? It is a standalone card. It won't share your RAM in the same manner that an integrated video chip does.
ohh ok, i never knew cause both my pc were intergrated, so if i get the graphics card wou;ld my pc go faster 2?
all it does is free up the ram being used by the onboard video & allow you to play games that the onboard wouldn't let you play
ohh ok, 1 last question whats the best pci e graphics card that would run well with 512mb or ram, 2.20Ghz AMD 3500+
SUP, for under 200 dallarz, I recommend the ATI Radeon X850pro, http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2367971&Tab=2&NoMapp=0 I say this card because is got 256MB GDDR3 memory and 475 core and 12 pipelines for a crazy price and it’s a dangerous gaming card. I think this card would go great for your setup. P.S. I'm a price conscious person, if u've got a bigger budget, holla
yah, its vista compatible. when Microsoft was making vista, they used the X800 cards. the one i recomended is a X850pro! one thing is that its not DX10 compatible, but than again; none around today is. but it will still work cuz its compatible with DX9.0L(last version of DX9) My card got a 3.6 out of 5 with vista compatibility test, and i have an X700pro APG. P.S. If you want DX10 card, you'll have to wait till january atleast for the cheaper DX10 cards to come out.
Sniping_G, remember the vista you tried was a beta & not a finished product so will still have bugs in it.
tahts tru,hey ddp i was wondering ,the beta i got on the site was it the ultimite? or like the lower 1,cause now im thinking of just upgrading my ram for now to like 1 gig and wait for vista to come then i get a video card cause the only game i play now is counter strike lol and it doesnt lag
