Graphics Card is Geforce 6800GT I have just updated the drivers for this card - I unistalled the old ones first as advised on the Nvidia website then installed the updated ones. Now there is graphic problems with certain games like Half Life 2 - ie, see through walls,weird colors, missing characters - basically just messed up - any one had this problem and what can I do to sort it - any other info that is needed just shout. Thanks in advance.
Version: 78.01 Had the same problem with the drivers before this version - so I just did a system restore to put it back to normal - just done another one now.
Did you use drivercleaner link http://www.drivercleaner.net/ to clean up after you unistalled your old driver, i would also recomend using this driver 78.03-hd.v2 from here http://www.tweaksrus.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=127&Itemid=41/ ... heres how to use if you don't know after you have installed driver cleaner..... 1. unistall old driver via control panel> system> hardware> device manager> display adapters> driver> unistall 2. restart in safe mode> run driver cleaner 3. reastart in to windows 4. install driver 5. restart and all should be well Hope this helps
