Hey all I need some help with a graphics problem.

I have a Geforce 7900 GS and i get geometric tearing and blinking and stuff whenever I play games. Its weird because its not a temperature problem as whenever I play the games the CPU temp runs at 45 degrees max and the GPU temp runs at about 40-45 degrees at the most.

    Can anyone please help me?

Hmm, do you have the latest drivers installed? What are you using to monitor the GPU temps?

Can you take a screenshot in game when this happens and post it? The only thing I would know that would cause this is high graphics card temps. Try using RivaTuner to monitor the temps as I do not believe ASUS Probe monitors graphics card's temps, only cpu.

cant provide much of a picture but there is alot of blinking and flickering (only in the game which is WoW) using rivatuner the GPU temp is around 44 degrees. once in awhile i'll get massive geometric tearing with the GPU temp still the same.

Oh, try turning on vsync. You may have that option in game or it will be in the nvidia control panel.
