I have a geforce 4000 mx. I'm trying to play lord of the rings "battle for middle earth 2". The game plays fine till it comes time to load into the actual game. That's when it crashes. It says that the geforce mx 4 is not supported on the game requirements. Is there a way around this. I tried downloading the latest drivers from Nvidia. No luck. Please help.

unfortunately steve I DONT THINK there is a way around this(had same prob in the past). The best advice i could give on this is to close all backround task USING TASK MANGAGER<click on the USER NAME to sort them by catergory, then close everything listed NEXT YOUR NAME ONLY(NOT LOCAL SERVICE,NETWORK SEVICE OR SYSTEM FILES UNLESS U KNOW WHAT UR DOING) except explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe.(may have to exclude any "access denied"files. Also if you have any antivirus programs close all options for example nortons antivirus,goto>options>auto-protect & worm protector and disable them temperaley.Best I can do other than suggest maybe investing 50 -65 us $ in msi fx 5200 video card(not TOO bad for running the latest games)but maybe someone else can help more tho.
