green screen with .mov files

    Hello

    For months I have played mov files without a problem. For the last few days, however, when I open a .mov file, I get a green screen. I do hear the sound but I can only see the first 2 seconds of the video and then the screen turns green. Both with quicktime and quicktime alternative.
    Can anyone help me?

    Hi,

    I had this. To get rid of it, in Edit... Preferences... Quicktime Preferences... Video Settings, I unticked enable DirectDraw Acceleration.

    No idea if this'll work for you though...
