On some of the bin/cue files that I burn for svcd's I get a green screen when I put them in the dvd player but when I convert them to mpeg2 with vcdgear to watch them on my cpu they play beautiful. They dont do this with all of them. Please help cuz I am wasting a lot of cd-r's. Thx.

Well what did you use to burn them?? Also when you extracted the mpeg from the bin/cue, did you try to burn that using nero or something??

i used nero and alcohol 120 both with the same results. When I try to burn the mpeg with nero it converts it from mpeg2 to mpeg1 and burns but the sound does not match with the video.

Sounds like you tried to burn svcd on a vcd compilation. In nero, click file - new. If the Nero Wizard comes up, click close wizard! Select Super VideoCD from the list and click new!

I think I figured it out. I took the svcd's to a friends and tried them on his player and it worked fine so I guess my player isnt compatible. I am havin trouble finding one that is compatible with everything cuz some work and some dont and I also burn dvd's onto dvd-r's. Do you have any recommendations for a player that plays everything including dvd-r/rw and dvd+r/rw also all vcd's and svcd's. Price dont matter cuz the money I save in movies the player will be worth it.
