Hi, Im in trouble. I just started cromwell linx on my xbox and accidently hit the video mode option. I changed it back to PAL (My native setting) before leaving the menu and pressing rebot. Now my xbox only displays all the screens in a flickering picture and in black and white. The only two apps which dont do this are the XeniumOS and the Cromwell launch screen. All the others (including dashboards are flickering). I have a 1.0 xbox with an ICE. I allready restored my EEPROM through the xenium os but this did nothing. Hay Stu,I'm not to familier with the Ice but i would suggest restoring XB dash and bios to default when all else fails.Also make sure you saved the default video setting to PAL before rebooting.
Hi, Got it solved? Cromwell doesnt do as good a job as videomode switchdisk. Had to find a really old TV which supports NSTC and PAL but got it fixed. Thanks for your help!
