Ok i haven't burned in a few months but it was working fine...now i can't burn nothing, just stops saying error on Nero. So figured maybe it was just nero but same thing with windows media player. ddp, how do i enable that. I'm a little new to this. Also do you have a link for the NEC DVD+RW ND-3100AD firmware? I have a dell 8400. I been looking around at sites and it seems there isn't any firmware. I dont get why all of a sudden it doesn't want to burn.
in device manager, under ide controllers look at both primary & secondary to enable the dma. also check the guides section above about the 1 done by bbmayo.
