WHen i put in some DVD-r blanks in this dirve it doenst work i have a 25 pack of sony dvd-r blanks and i put the firts one in and then it works and now i try putting another blank in but it will notrecognize the disk so i cnat burn anything onto it. This is the second brand of dicks this has happened 2 me for. Any1 know what i can do???
Sorry bro, My LG burner just bit the big one, making nothing but coasters on 3 different computers and 2 different PCI ATA IDE cards on all different types of media. The drive sucks! All drives suck! They all die sooner or later but today it seams like they are dieing much too fast!! My LG is not even 3 months old yet and it burns DLs and +/-R DVDs and says that the burn is successful but they do not verify or work in any player including the LG and even some times the drive starts to write to the disk during a verify. I just got a Sony DRX-810UL because my old Sony non DL drive is the only one still working, my old +R only HP external is also still working. So far my Memorex +DL is dead after 3 months my Samsung was DoA and never worked right and my cyberhome +DL died after 6 months and my LG just took a big dump! AARG! I can’t even find a good review for the Sony I just bought. I just want a drive that will work, is that too much to ask for!
