GTA IV backup freezes at start and gives rrod

Hello,

I bought gta IV and like i always do i take backups of my game before I insert it in my 360. I did the same with gta IV and before thinking it through i just put the burned backup ( xbbackupcreator and burned with 2,4X imgburn) in the 360, it starts up plays the image sequence then it pops to black screen and says "starting a new game..." and then " the cousins bellick..." and then all of a sudden it freezes on a screen with litle red stripes, barcodes if you will. And the console is none responding, so i just put it off manually and when i put i back on it gives the red ring of death, and not a single game plays. But after a while putting it back off and on again and chaging games it works fine again.

So the question is is it even same to put in my original ?
And even if that works how do i create a good backup of the game ?
