they've basically haven't released any info on it at all, especially story wise. it has not been confirmed for being set in NYC. the first trailer is coming out tomorrow, that should tell us a lot about it. http://www.rockstargames.com/IV/
Liberty City was loosely based on NYC. Vice City was loosely based on Miami. San Andreas was loosely based on Vegas, San Fran, and LA. Would they actually recreate an authentic NYC? That's news to me but anything would be since I haven't been tracking it. I am looking forward to the game though!
Yep, the first GTA IV trailer came out yesterday and the game will be based back at Liberty City a.k.a "New York City" and Rockstar studios remade Liberty City to resemble the big apple better. All i know is, i cant wait to get my PS3 copy of this game...
To be politically correct, you can call him "eastern european." Hell, I'm happy it's back in Liberty City. I love it in 3, and I'm sure it'll be great now. The "Get a Life" building is classic. For those of you outside of NYC, the building parodies the Met Life building. Times Square looks great, as does Grand Central, the Statue of Liberty, the Chrysler building, the Empire State building, Brooklyn, Coney Island, the piers, the church, Wall Street, all of it, looks amazing.
