Yep, thanks for reminding me! I already changed it to 200x500 pixel :D

Anyway, I live in North York and I think cities within the GTA are affected by the blocking of Rogers. If you want, you can at least try calling them about it. :D

Tell me if there is a huge different when downloading using bell. I, for one, is thinking the same thing. But I doubt there wouldn't be much difference.

yea there is a huge different because bell doesn't block torrents so it will be way faster. It's like downloading with a router without port forwarding... trust me bell might decrease your overall speed but will increase your torrents speed like crazy!!:)

    the guide is great dvd

okay i have got a private tracker and done everything in the guide, im on a 1.5mb connection,my upload speed is around 377 so i set the global max upload speed to about 30kBs after reading the calculation guide(377/8 x .80)and im downloadin at around 170kB/s with upload of about 4kb/s with 86 seeds. does it seem like im on the right path? or can i get it faster?

also my internet browser is very slow when im donlowndin, is this normal?

hmm your going pretty fast just make sure you have protocol encryption on and it also matters on how many seeders and so but 170kb/s is pretty fast. Also your web browser will be slower but it shouldn't really be very slow or anything.

pretty good speed u have there. 82 seeds and u get 170kbps. Great work! compared to me, I only get 98 or lower dl speed when connected to 82 seeders.

Hi to all. I'm a noob here so please let me know and disregard my question if I'm breaking the rules here. I was almost finished with a little more than an 8GB download of a torrent. I accidentally hit some friggin button and some how i deleted the torrent from the utorrent client. I still have about 80% of the file. Is there a way i can continue the download from where i left off, and please tell me how to do it, if u can. Thank you so much for your help, if ur able to...thanx

If you have the 80% in the same download folder, just reopen the same torrent or if it was deleted, download it from the same site and open it.

Do u remember the link of the file that you are downloading? If so, just download it again and it will resume to the way you left it.

wow im downloading a smaller torrent now (1.24gb) and with only a few seeds and my speeds are averaging 31kb/s, it's only about 15% but with my last download, at 25% it broke down. Im not sure if my ip starts to throttle the downloading later but does any1 know any tips to keep the speeds high if you have an isp that blocks?

You could try downloading through the night. Some ISP's don't block during low use periods.

yea, mistycat is right. I usually dl stuff during midnights and early mornings(around 1am). I think when u have rogers, that is the best time to dl stuff in Utorrent. I always leave my computer on over the midnights and by the time I wake up, the dl is done. :D
