shit dagg i think i fried my mothda borad im gonna buy the datel tool shit fusk im pissed with that battery can u start it up normaly as well
You can, but you'd need to take the battery out, plug the psp in, turn it on, then put the battery in.
hey, I downloaded total newbie easy installer, and unzipped the unbricker file. Now what file do I put it in on my memory card?
You run the .exe programs with the PSP connected.
so by doing that & moding my battery, it will automatically flash to cfw? 3.XX? (I have 3.60)
Yes, or that combined with a service mode battery (such as this http://www.consolesource.com/ecomm/catalog/Datel-Battery-PSP-Tool-Pandoras-Battery-p-2676.html ) combined with the memory stick will install custom firmware for you.
which .exe programs?
so that mean easier to create pandora battery using PSP with CFW, then where can i find a "pandora battery creator"? Can u guide me to do this?
Google could've linked you to around 50 guides or more about the Pandora's Battery.
If you have a CFW enabled PSP, then this guide should help you. It helped me.
Ok, I used the TNEI and believe it worked. In usb mode the MS shows, Pandora Bat Firm installer, Pandora battery creator, and than two files that say corrupted data. Is this ok? I am heading out to pickup a spare battery.
Yes, this is OK.
Sweet!!!!!!!!! I'm excited now..So, after I install the service battery will I have the option as to which CFW to install?
Yes, this will take you to 1.50, and from there the world is open to you.
Can anyone here confirm that this battery trick works? Actually opening up the battery and cutting the pin 5. And can u still charge it like a normal
Yes, it works, but it is very difficult to perform.
Well hmmm, I just did it and only cut pin 5 and I can confirm that my battery doesnt work now.
on pspfanboy.com it says that wire must be soldered on/or by IC04, and there is no mention of cutting any pin.
Well, somehow you must have done somethign wrong.
