    Knock off the caps - it's like your shouting + against forum rules.
    How are you getting stuck on connecting the psp by usb connection to the pc? Like laz305 pointed out - quite simple - pick usb connection - connect the usb from the psp to a usb port on the pc and click x :)

    Not a problem :)

    Check consoleshop.com or codejunkies.com for the datel tool battery.
    Neither have the fastest service but do deliver.

    @EMMAX
    Then you might need a card reader to format the memory stick on the pc since psp can't connect to the pc thru usb.

    ok well the word brick would of helped you out a lot then wouldn't it. your only option is to borrow a psp cuz you can't use this guide with a brick.

    Will your PSP turn on and boot to XMB? Or will it not turn on at all?

    Did you have custom firmware installed before this issue?

    @EMMAX

    This will work to unbrick your sons PSP but you need a card reader or another PSP to create the Magic Memory Stick.

    Then Hardmod the Battery or buy a Datel Tool Battery.

    @pspman99

    This will install 3.71 M33-2 to your sons official 3.52 PSP with the option to update to newest custom firmware with the ADD ON files.

    hi. i just wanna make sure if this works in an official firmware. all the people i asked told me that there is no way to make a magic memory stick and a pandora battery with an ofw. they told me that i should use a fat psp w/ a custom firmware. i want to convert my 3.80 official firmware to a custom firmware. i believe in people brilliant in unbricking or downgrading psps but i just want to be sure because i don't want to brick my new psp slim and lite like what happened to my fat psp. can someone help me please? thanks very much

    I used the guide word for word on my Vista Home Premium machine. Everything worked perfectly fine. I don't know what all the talk was about Vista but mine worked fine. I had 3.80 Official Firm ware on a Slim...using the tutorial I got Custom Firmware and upgraded to the new 3.90 M33 and also have two games.

    I learned later that the PSP Slim doesn't install the 1.50 Kernal Addon as of yet, but there is a program from noobz.eu i think that allows for 1.50 ported games. it's the Eloader. To be honest though...playing those home brew or emulator games on PSP is kinda pointless. So you don't really need it. Once you get the Custom Firmware it's possible to play the PSP iso or cso games which is what you really need custom firmware for.

    Just wanted to tell everyone thanks and also...Know any good sites to get iso or cso files. and another question...If you get UMD rips how do you play those on your PSP...I'm gonna look for a forum on that..haven't checked yet but if you know please post.
