Format your memory stick and put it again. If it still doesn't work upgrade to 3.80 M33-4

Stick with one thread - not post your problem in different ones.

Yeah. correct me if im wrong but i think its dangerous.

its when you're at the option of:

    Flashing 3.71m33
    Flashing 3.71 OFW
    Backup nand

Isnt the main purpose of backing up the nand, is so you are able to revert back to official firmware if you want. Why is this dangerous?

They say it is dangerous because if you use the wrong NAND on the wrong PSP you can cause major error issues.

All you have to do is choose to backup the NAND dump. It will write it to memory stick then all you have to do is transfer to PC for safe keeping.

If you have issues you always have a backup of the NAND that can be restored when unrecoverable bricks happen that Pandora & MS can't fix.

thats the only danger? So i guess it would be smart for me to back it up since i only plan on getting one and only one psp in my future???? are there any other dangers?

Where do you choose that? sorry but i havent done this process yet. Is it in your guide?

So is the only use of the nand to fix bricks?

Do i need the Nand backup if i ever wanted to install official firmware? or can that be done without a nand backup?

can be done without nand backup. just go to like sony's website and download the eboot.. i guess. or just go to 1.5 and go up from there :)

but i dont understand why you would want to go to official again :p

What about the files that are needed for the magic memory stick but are supposedly "illegal" to have or distribute that are copywrited by Sony. wouldnt i need them when i try too mod my PSP with this tutorial?
