340.PBP is not needed, all the files are embedded in UPMSInstaller, the installer only uses the 150.PBP for the full 1.5 firmware on ms, 371.PBP is only used for the install of DA's M33 installer on both Fat & Slim PSP's, but for the slim you can leave out all options from the tools menu apart from the 371M33Updates, the 150KernelAddon will not boot on a slim anyway.

NP bro. Just as Ghost has said you don't need the 3.40 for UPMS.

ok guys, When it was asked to delete all the folders in the memory stick but the PSP and ISO ones, I did and sure inside the PSP folder I deleted all but GAME one. Does it work nicely as well?

You should probably have left the PSP folder alone-I would reformat your memory stick just to be safe...Any deviations from the posted guide may give you undesirable results..

    hi,
It was stated as one of the steps that we have to delete the below folders.

3>Go into USB mode and delete all but the ISO, and PSP folders

What is the purpose of doing it? Once deleted, is there any way to retrieve them?

    thanx!

Alright I will reformat it. but now I can reformat it using the Cable instead the battery right? and just quit step number 2 which is the one that make the battery pandora right? By the way I was told I do not need the 340.PBP but i read some replies here and I saw you "dEEz_nUtz" saying there should be need it as far as I could read. So does it have to be there or not. I am downgrading a SLIM PSP

Well this is just the magic memory stick. so when you make the stick normal again I mean formating it, the psp itself creates all the folders it needs.

I am the creator of the UPMS (just so you know).
You DO NOT need the 340.PSP when using UPMS Emerald.
    To answer your other questions.
Yes just format using the ac adapter to boot from.
Yes skip step 2 as you already have a Service Battery(Pandora)
When done to downgrade your Slim use the Slim booting method.

I was really unsure about that and in order to do something I always like to clear my mind as much as possible. Sorry for the question again but now I can remake it peacefully :) and I am also sure that many other people later on when coming here with the same doubt will have the answers. Thank you.

You were COMPLETELY RIGHT. I checked in this current format that many other settings were made using GAME150 folder, such as 352UPDATE, M33 and others that when I DELETED all the folders inside PSP and left only GAME those ones were not written. Thank you.!
Another thing is that now in the GUI says to run STEP4 but yesterday it was not written that and I installed but I think I could see it does the same as the STEP3 full VERSION. Any way I ran it. Is that right?

Step 4 is only needed if you do a limited install(fastest). If you do a full install with utilities(slowest) there is no need to run step 4. Everything will be installed with the full install from step 3.

Sorry about the confusion-I went through the guide last night and removed some verbage as well as removing the link to the Limited version installer as I noticed I had not included the links to those extra add-on files...I also noticed the 'Suggested' Steps were a bit off after editing them, SO as of today the steps are correct for the Emerald version full install-

If you choose "Install UPMS with utilities(fastest)" from step#3 in the installer, you can skip step#4 altogether..
    Again sorry for the confusion.

Well first about the STEP4 i made because it was deleted and I wanted to follow as accurate as possible and then I have files doubled now. It will not be a problem, will it? I don't think so.

And since what you edited does not affect what I have done :)?I mean it won't mess up with the pandora and Files right?

^^Even if you installed the add-ons from step#4 after running step#3 you would be fine...It will just basically overwrite the files...Have you tested it out to confirm its working?

Nah, I have sold my FAT one and that's why I had to prepare everything now. Basically I am trusting your work because when I leave here and buy the Slim there I will have no other way to downgrade it besides this one and if it fails I am boosted :) cuz finding another homebrew i. It took me 3 months to find someone there who was able to downgrade my first one. I will report if it works or not!. Thank you. (if double post it's due my webpage) it reseted

Wow, thats a long way to travel for a slim psp...You must have family or friends where you are traveling to?

As long as your battery is ok and you confirmed it to work when you made it into a pandora, you will be fine...If worst comes to worst, you would have to re-do the memory stick files, but there are programs that make the memory stick without the need for a CFW psp.

:) Well yes i have family there. My psp for example I got in while I was in Holland so...

The battery is fine since I changed it to Service with your system and it said it is now something like 0.fffffffff I presume. so I think the battery won't be a problem since it is also the original that came with my fat psp. About the files it's great to know that I can get the files, but if the worst happen, Maybe I can use a camera for example to transfer the files from someone to the memory stick right?
