Got it, burned it and it works excellent. However, I've only been playing it with my normal controller and that was getting old real quick. I finally went and bought a guitar for it but for some reason it's not working at all. This is actually the first wireless controller/device I've ever owned. Does anyone know if the reason it's not working is because it's a burned copy of the game? Could it be that my system isn't recognizing it because of that reason?

    Thanks...

you have to sync it maybe?

go to options in the game, then go to sync, also double check on your wireless guitar that the switch on the side is turned ON (like with the Kramer Guitars) also make sure your batteries are charged or replaced, I've found out the hard way that even with the whammy bar pressed down for 24 hours the batteries will die out (left face down for a night)

I've been playing GH 1,2,3 AND Rockband from my HD with the 3rd party wireless "Simpson's" guitar (Otto's Axe). No problem at all. Kills batteries, tho... 4 AA's at a time...

GH 3 has a problem with freezing on the startup animation (Budcat, etc.) and some of the in game cutscenes. I just press X to skip them, as soon as possible.

dopex, always, ALWAYS burn at the slowest speed. 2-4x is acceptible. As well, I would recommend using Alcohol 120% to burn your game, as Decrypter is great for rips, but NOT up to date for burning.

Actually, I would recommend imgburn for ripping, as well. Imgburn is free. Alcohol 120% you need to find on your own. This site will not help with cracks, etc.

Also, do NOT use cheap media for your games! Do NOT get the "on sale' crap at yer local store. Buy the good DVD+R media. I have used TDK, and Memorex, but there is much better. Taiyo-Uden comes to mind, Fuji, there are a lot of others.

Rule of thumb = Slow burn = better copy

Like I said, use good media. If you got it at Dollar World, chances are, it's not good.

If you are having trouble booting your backups, search the site first (it's the box at the top of this page), and THEN ask, in a new thread. There are a number of threads to answer your issues...
