I am not sure if this is the correct forum. I am sorry if it is not.

My questions is concerning the H264 video file type.

Is it possible to have a file that can be played on a PSP, video iPOD, and Windows MCE machine? I don't believe that you can due to resolution conflicts.

    Can this be done?

    Thanks.

Update to latest firmware, take the lowest maximum bitrate/resolution/ codec complexity level... supported by your platforms, and probably you can find a common ground.

    Thank you for the reply.

I feel that I have it worked out for the two handheld devices. In researching video resolutions it does not appear to be in my best interest in beating myself up trying to get a file to play as well on my PSP on my MCE big screen TV.

    Cheers.

You are correct. You'd compromise way too much, loose too much when playing on your big screen.
