ok the developers said that to decrease loading time you can dump all the game into the hard drive.but the disk has to be inserted in drive because of copywrite issues.hackers might come up with a custom firmware which will make the game play without the disk.any comments???
ye that might be a possibility but we are not gona find that out for suer untill its out anyone know the release date for this game?
Getting the disc dumped onto the HD isn't the problem. That can be done for games already out, too. Getting them to boot is. So...Not really news.
A custom firmware can't be made without accessing the nand chip on the system.I don't think the game is going to mess with the nand chip at all,besides the update that is bundled with it.It will probably build a system file on the PS3 just like all the other games,and then read off the disc.It isn't nothing new to be honest,and I'm not sure why everyone wants a custom firmware for PS3.A simple boot disc would make me happy or something simple like it.
