I am getting a dlp hdtv built-in this weekend and was wondering do I really need a hd tuner for it? Because my Dish Network provider wants $300.00 dollars to come out an put one in. I always thought that since you have one that was built-in you didnt need a receiver and that you would get the signal anyways. Am I lying to myself?
    Please help it arrives Saturday

    Thanks,
    Phil

The tuner in your tv is built to receiver un-scrammbled [bold]Digital[/bold] TV local channels over the air and possibly over cable. If you want more veriety you will need an HD receiver and HD service from a cable or satalight provider.
