I try and copy a film or an Album direct from cd to cd an it gets so far and errors occur.

no, I'll try it. We've had problems (errors)
with PC and we've had to change Windows about 5 times in last 3mnths its probably due to that as well

What error message do you get? Is it a buffer underun ? I used to get that one. If so go to the settings ,uncheck the box that lets nero handle your buffer size and manually increase your buffer size, Dont increase to much, try a little first if you get the underun again increase more

You can avoid buffer underrun aswell but running nero cd speed and drive speed tests, also defragmenting your hard drive regularly!!
