Nevermind ferdyjmg said... It was a reply from the previous thread i posted... which this is a renew one... Yo guys, I heard you can put Hard drives in your Wii. An advantage to put Wii ISO Games inside... the only disadvantage we got is torrent downloading... which some take a lot of time to download...

Dude, yeah! I need something to unbrick my Wii by UPDATING it OFFLINE...

Well, the recommended version is 4.0 US. Anyone has one? to update it offline using Homebrew Channel

Do you have a softmod or hardmod?

4.0 is alot more easy to hack than 4.2, plus 4.0 can also use certain exploits like Smash Stack in case of a brick, which 4.2 cannot. Okay, Ar0 if you UPdating to 4.0, you can either:

-Update through The Homebrew Channel by installing IOS60 & your region's system menu WAD file using WAD Manager. If you do this, make sure the system menu WAD file is for your region:

    PAL is System Menu v418
NTSC USA is System Menu v417
NTSC JAP is System Menu v416

If it is not you will brick even further.

    OR
-You can update via a disc. This is much easier & it definitely won't brick your wii. Just make sure the game is in your region. Wii Fit will update you to 4.0, New Super Mario Bros Wii will update you to 4.1, & Endless Ocean 2 will update you to 4.2

Use the disc method it's much easier & safer.

Uh, dude... Any Differences about 4.0 and 4.1 US?

Well, I saw a copy of New Super Mario Bros Wii... Maybe buying it will be good, In case if the .wad file doesn't work...

4.0 & 4.1 literally have no differences, but a bug that replayed the motion-plus tutorial video after you played wiiware games then Wii sports resort has been fixed in 4.1

You have a semi-brick, so if you mess around with the WAD files & screw up, it could result in a Full Brick(repairable only with a homebrew exploit or priiloader) or a Banner Brick(a lot harder to repair, but repairable).

You'll probably want to buy a new game sooner or later, but for now head down to your local video store & rent out Wii Fit or Mario Bros, update & you will be unbricked.

Let us know how it goes.

Softmod=Homebrew Channel installed in the memory of the wii.
Hard-Mod=Modchip attached to the DVD Drive inside the wii.

You're lucky if you got a full brick it would need a modchip to fix, but since its only a semi, it can be fixed easily.

Wait, wait... I use Hardmod... I just knew that now... i kinda sometimes download ISO Wii games... The shorter the RAR Archive memory and many seeds (Torrent file), the faster to download the game and play it...

Which means... I have both of them...

It doesn't matter what you have just download Wii Fit then & update.

If you have your system softmoded (with a cIOS). Then all you need to do is use NUSD and download the system menu you have semi-bricked on (make sure you download the proper region and pack it as a WAD). Then use WAD Manager to install it.

Says who? 4.2 is super easy . If you think 4.2 is hard then you shouldn't be Modding at all. Who cares another the smash brow. How dumb do you have to be to brick. Pol

I'm not going to start an argument, but 4.2 is harder because the actual modding process is much longer & complicated, (deleting stubs, Downgrading IOS, Trucha-Patching IOS. etc).

    Hey guys. Very big problemo...

Here's the thing, i bought a copy of Red Steel 2 and I can't find the label if it was NTSC or PAL.

The copy was actually pirated (as I call it burned.

Now, I may (I repeat "MAY") have a 4.0 PAL or a "broken" NTSC update...

Anyone know how to update it properly, and don't even think about buying a original copy...

So, I found a Torrent that is a .wad file... Tried it and it gave me errors when installing... *well, it did not brick the Wii, just prevented it)

If I don't solve this Problem... You know what happens....
And, no not destroying the Wii or just Give it or repair it by paying at a repair shop.

Just gonna buy a console. My favorite Tech... MICROSOFT! XBOX 360!

Anyway, even if im gonna buy the console, I still need to learn how to do this...

    For some quick buck...

I like repairing gadgets, it's my thing...

Anyway (again), I will use the console next year because i was (kinda) forced to go to the Seminary... geez, no tech for the whole school year, but some sports! Sports fest for 3 months, cool. I'm not complaining not to go to that school because it was religious, but i'm complaining because of no girls.(Who cares about my school life)...

Reply with a tag "TOR" for the torrent talking
    and
Reply with a tag "BRKN NTSC" for the repairing of The Wii...

Hey, I'm 13 and I want a driver's liscense or a learner's permit, i know how to drive since i was 12 (not being boastful here, but seems I need to have some friends to chat with)... Thanks guys, your the only (older) friends I have (Well, I have some older friends in my country, but you are the ones in another country)... I kinda not really usually hang out with my friends with the same (and a year under)age, but with older guys, but I hang out with some girls...

Anyway (F*cking again), Reply to with your power of tech knowledge...
    (That was a mouthful)
