Actually I have read that about the in question game could play also xp in the operating system .. But they piece of literature are finnish language .. But xp does not give full game support such as vista give but should however function anyhow ?
Nope sorry...It's windows vista exclusive.Directx 10 will be required which won't run on xp. I know there are plans to make directx10 run on xp but halo2 will still be only on windows vista even if they do make directx10 run on xp. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halo_2
Im kind of confused. I read that halo 2, as well as crysis, will only work with vista because they need direct x10. But, according to extreme gear, dx10 graphics cards arn't out yet and most games up until 2008 would also work with DX9. Id assume my 7800 would work with dx10, but extremegear says otherwise. Does anyone know the which one it is??
http://www.nvidia.com/page/technology_vista_gpu.html In terms of dx10 it will work on the card but you will still need vista installed to have dx10 becuase ms isn't releasing the dx10 run time for anything but vista os. So either way your would need vista.
