Sorry. I've googled so much today trying to get some Halo 2 map hack stuff, I have developed a headache. I am trying to enable network multiplayer. Does anyone know how this is done? Mind you, I know a decent enough of DotHalo to make whatever needed changes to make it work. Would just copying the first campaign map and naming it as a multiplayer map work? Or, is there a bit more to it than that? Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Not a very good way to start in a new forum. I can't even figure out where the edit button is. I tried renaming a map, but it just froze after the animations. As I figured.

bleaking crud, I found it. Post still stands.

Ohh, I see. Co-op uses a lot of scripts (which I knew) and it looks like scrips are impossible to use on MP. Maybe has something to do with two seperate Xbox consoles trying to run the same script, and since they are linked, the game is not designed to have the host run script to carry over to the other Xbox unit. This would make sense, explain why co-op is impossible. Oh well, it was worth a try.

does talking to yourself solve most of your problems, or do you just like to type?

nubE1 you'll see a lot of people doing post after post (talking to themselves). It's the best thing to do in forums because if someone searched and the title matched their search it's better than finding someone asking a question that doesn't have an answer.

kodan50 if you figure this out let us know exactly what's needed. It's cool you're trying to figure it out but you have to realize that game came out quite awhile ago. Halo 3 works great on online co-op, maybe you can grab the code from that and see exactly how it's written.
