Hi, I just got the killtrocity map pack ISO. I used gXISO to install it on my xbox. It works fine except that the view is low - lower than if you were crouching (just above eyelevel with the ground). Also, the gravity is much less and when you jump you go much too high for much too long. This is for all of the modded maps. I've uninstalled both my halo 2 and the killtrocity and reinstalled both (this time using Qwix for Killtrocity ISO). The problem persists. I use Mimesis and have a number of maps already on. When I reinstalled my Halo 2 those maps were still there. I had a few other modded maps from the earlier days (bloody creek, blood gulch, and another one). Those ones got deleted when I reinstalled. Can someone help?
i also have killtrocity modded, mine works just great, just might be a different modded version u have, could be that, the low veiw, the jumping, sounds like trainers turned on or the maps may have been modded with thhose trainers
I got it from a torrent website. The ream-me file is as follows: "Hello people good to so you've downloaded the mappack me and my buddy's have compiled. So far it's the best modded content for Halo 2 and its fully systemlinkable that means you can play it with all your friends on XBC / Xlink. This mappack has already been downloaded massively but now the ISO has come. SO BURN OR FTP THIS ISO TO A DVD OR YOUR XBOX HARDRIVE AND START EXPERIENCING SOME HARDCORE MODDED MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCES! IN THE ROOT OF THE ISO THERE IS A DVD COVER!!!!!!! KILLTROCITY MAPPACK FOR THE WIN! [quote="Me (The Flying Dutchman) in my original post on http://files.halomods.com wrote":] Hello fellow modders of the community, after a lot of work, postponing, hussling with legit auto-patching, patches, debugging maps, finally we could release. We present proudly a compilation of maps that deserve being played into eternity and that were made with great dedication by their authors, therefore forfilling the true goal of modding: having fun making mods and let everyone have fun playing them!!! This mappack has been put together quite selective and besides that it has been tested very thorougly. Even at the last second i've made some minor updates to maps, mostly systemlink issues. It contains various types of mods and i am sure this mappack will give everyone alot of good modded multiplayer experiences (and not freezing xboxes experiences). Not everyone likes a mappack, but this one is a must have. It contains 48 modded maps made by various authors, with a modded mainmenu, made by Headshot and me. best places to get good maps and stuff are sites that are small communitys or get an invite to closed community torrent sites, an FYI, that 'google" comment wasnt towards u.
Ive been searching for the killtrocity pack so if you guys know were to get it then please tell me because i would really like to know
If you played Sunnision to test the maps, you are a grunt and the view is lower, and most of the maps the grav. is off a bit
You have to have a modded xbox to play them and you have to download the torrent from the web. I made custom disk covers for the first killtrocity mappack and the killtrocity v2 mappack and case covers, here are my most recent:
I figured it out a while ago. I had one of the trainers on to give decreased gravity or something like that - looks like it screws with the V1 Killtrocity.
