Halo 2 Map help

im fairly new to modding the maps etc on Halo 2 and have been following other threads on how to load them etc. I managed to create the names of the maps on the "mainmenu.map" but it doesn't load the map even though i put it in the map folder. I signed it and done everything but it just didn't work. I overwrote one of the original maps with the same name and that worked. However, I want to keep the originals as well as the new modded maps. is this possible?

wow it works! gr8 thread thanks. I forgot to put in the Scenario stuff. But now I have a major problem. Although all maps work now, my campaign doesn't work! it says disk read error or something. what did i do wrong?? it was working fine b4 i started modding maps etc. please help! thnx
