Halo 2 map packs

    sorry if this has been asked before but...

    My friend and I both have modded xbox's but only I have xbox live. I have downloaded the new map packs from live but want to "lend" them to my friend who doesn't have live so that we can play the new maps against each other. I know that the new maps are stored in E:\TDATA\4d530064\$c\ and have tried simply copying them to the same location on his xbox but they don't show up on the main menu. I'm sorry if this is a noob question but i don't know where to go from there... could someone help?

    My understanding is that someone else will have to change the map for him to use them... he just can't pick the map.

    Or you could just try transferring the entire udata folder from halo 2 to his box with the updated menu.
