Aight dude. I had to do this with the little help of my peers. Okay, to softmod your xbox, put in the (i have ARmax for xbox) action replay disc, then, go under mechassault ( u need this game) and transfer the linux_profile to your memory card, then put that on the xbox, then clear the memory card, put it back into the transfer device ( the one you hooked up to the back of the comp) and copy the run linux using evox (or sumthin like that) and put that on your xbox. then put in mechassault [bold]not the platinum hits version[/bold] and load the linux profile, it should be self explanitory from there.
It's kl now i gt it a while ago. I mod now but i think i need new mods coz da 1n's on A4H r quite boring now do u hav any other suggestions???
Well if you search around http://halomods.com/ there are some pretty sick (the good sick) multiplayer map skins, I just have trouble finding like run superfast, jump hella high, that stuff.
@ian1991- Okay, so i have all the stuff listed in my post above, and i want to know how to get my xbox softmodded. So i turned on mechassault, and there was a run linux profile but when i select it, it says it cannot load this file... now i dunno if its the linux profile, or the way im doin it, but can u explain how u got ures softmodded? my email is MDVCPS2FREAK@netscape.net my aim is MDVCPS2FREAK or just post it here, i need help.

ok, the thing i found was sometimes the linux and the run linux profiles didn't match. so u hav to select different ones. KEEP the run linux (or it will take longer) and just select diff profiles and put them on ur xbx. if u hav problems jst message me
