    Is there any way to play halo 2 on xbox live with halo 2 on your hdd?

    yes, you would have to overwrite the new maps with the old maps so xbl thinks they are new maps. then load the game off your disc and play. but people who didn't overwrite the new maps with the old maps will not be able to play it
