My halo 2 on my xbox was working great.. then today i was playing some system link on xbc and running halo 2 offa the disc.. joined a game.. the map was lock out and it was laggy so i left.. then i opened up split screen and tryed to load lockout.. after about 5 seconds after selecting it, it said Failed to Load Map.. i was like huh must be my disc.. so i took the game out.. and booted halo 2 offa the hdd, loaded the map (this one was a slightly altered version that worked fine b4) and it gave me another Failed to load map... then i deleted all the maps offa my xbox then copyed the maps folder to my box again.. loaded the game offa the box again Failed to Load map.. being i have all my maps backed up from my halo 2 b4 it was messed up.. i moved the locked out map to my xbox and replaced it.. loaded halo 2 and again.. Fail to load map... anyone know whats wrong? P.S. i went to a lan party at my friends house and the game got mixed up with my friend.. i relized this because i don't have the xbox live stuff in my halo 2 case.. maybe my friends game might be the cause? or would that effect its loading offa the hdd?
Nevermind.. got it working.. moved the $U folder back onto my xbox and now it works... Closing Thread
