Hey people! Just need some info on those who play halo 2 online! whats the best speed up for Xboxlive. I have 600K no lower up. I cant seem to under stand Why do laggging , I mean isnt 300kbps up good enough! Every time i usally play i get lagg where When I pick up a weapon and takes time to respawn in my hands, and where i throw a grenade and it doesnt show after a sec and lagggs in the air, taking forever to reach its drop! also Freaken takes about 8 shots with the battle riffle to take some guys shield down. When its probably aready down!! soomuch stupid shit laggy rocketssssss like the greneade Etccc... works fine when i host the game! no I thinking its either one of the 3 1. My Xbox Since it one of the first ones (OLD but the seem to run better than the newer ones) 2. Halo 2 Game(it plays multiplayer but after a while it frezzes (sign of problem with xbox yes!)) Comcast(RCA Modem its not old)I've replaced it with mortorola but cant really test my connection with it since my halo 2 game no longer works due to gamecrazys. i went to fix the scratches and they completely fffffed it up Stupid Morrons it look wose than before!! doenst Start!!!!
well if your connected to a router make sure things on your comp are using all your bandwidth, other than that use a better disc......
mine goes 100Mbps...i usally get host and i dont lag i got a good connection *there realy many reasons,The game,connection Do what ridges said hes pro here at Ad
an internet connection of over 1mb is perfect, if youre lagging your causing problems for other people, so just rmbr that. also a router can have a connection of up to 100mb/ps, but the xbox and xbox 360 can only handle 54mb/ps. dial up really isnt an option for xbox live, its just not good enough. but i would just say you need to upgrade to broadband and everything would be fine.
1mb really isnt that fast though it breaks down to about 100-130 K/b sec i have a 8 MB down about 840 K/b a second max,but if my uploads go up then i lag, it would be worse with a 1mb connection...
Brighthouse is my cable company for Internet you have to pick Earthlink or Roadrunner i have Earthlink...
