ya, but i have the map packs, so theres no point of wasting my bandwith a few extra maps that im sure will be DLC here in the short future.

No you're not getting it, there are 3 BRAND NEW maps on the disc, Heretic, Longshore, and some other map. You need these maps for the new achievements. My guess is that these maps will be available on the marketplace in the next few months.

    Oh yeah, and Citadel.

ok. but wasting 7+ gigs of download space, and a disc isnt worth the three maps to me. i personally do not like halo online, its always full of cry baby 8 year olds that just scream at the top of their lungs because they got ran over by a ghost or something stupid. so ill wait and get the maps when they hit the marketplace if i still feel like playing then. im more interested in the actual game itself than online play.

Lol I completely agree with you about the online the play. Yea, I guess that waiting for it to appear in the marketplace would be wise (I waited for the Mythic Maps to come out there), but bandwidth isn't much of a deal on my part so I might as well just download it.

BW isnt that much of a deal to me either, but i use astraweb. and instead of getting the unlimited monthly plan i get the 180 gigs for 25 bucks, so i dont really want to waste it on something i really dont care about. especially when there are better games to try like NFS, dirt 2, heroes over europe.

I've never gotten a game early, if I play it should I be staying off of XBL and deleting my game saves before I go online next?

wabashman you can get a platinum unlimited account with giganews, comes with 25 connections (i believe) and you can download all you want. and those 25 connections should be able to eaisly max out your connection.

yea, but the platinum runs 25 a month once their two month promo goes away, and to make sense for me to buy any monthly plan regardless of where its from, i would have to download around 60+ gigs a month. the last 180 package i got from astraweb lasted me a little over 3 months. and i dont see myself donwloading 60+ a month. mainly because there isnt that much out there i want/need. this month may be different since there was an abundance of games leaked, but this month is an anomaly in my opinion due to that.

    I love cable.

11 dollars a month, ssl, 20 connections, unlimited bandwidth.

    Would that be more reasonable?

    yes it would.

but due to where i live, cable isnt an option. its either wild blue/hughes net, of the local internet place has that long range radio internet. works well for my except the dl speeds only hit like 150 tops.

but the phone company did merge with an internet company so perhaps dsl will be here in future. which would be nice because we have internet at our lake house from the company they merged with (centurytel) and its unlimited bandwith from them and i can hit around a meg on our connection.

i know, we had it for a week until they started screwing us over and basically told them to f-off. i like my current ISP, only down side is the slow dl speeds, but oh well, 30 bucks a month no limits what-so-ever so i cant complain.

And now I feel a little more grateful for my 30/25 FiOS connection. My parents used to have one of those long range radio ISPs and the connection was constantly down. Seemed like the modem was constantly messing up (for some reason, it's outside, on the antenna??). Now i'm getting over 3MB a second at times. 7gb in >30 mins, and totally unlimited. FiOS is so incredible..

Actually, FIOS is not much more than cable from where I am. My cable connection was terrible, and FIOS is definitely worth the extra 10-20 a month, plus the TV, and Phone service are definitely a +.

I can't imagine this game being bad. It might not be the best of the series, but relative to other games, probably pretty good.
