agreed. i can't see how the game couldn't be good. is it overpriced... definitely. but it'll still be bad ass.
when you play it you will know what i mean. you know how much i talk about halo, this game is garbage.
Eh, for some people like me who haven't bought any of the recent maps, the second disc becomes useful so I can actually play online again lol.
Yeah I played it as well, and it was short, but at least it was something to play. When you actually insert Disc 2 it comes up as Halo 3, doesn't say anything about ODST on it. Oh and whoever said they could have the recon armor, yeah you have to get all the Vidmaster Challenges to get that, and all I can say is have fun with one of those... Actually there are 2 of them that I think are just screwed up! Yeah and AstraWeb is what I had for so long. Loved their $11/month Unlimited 20 SSL Connections. Though my connection sucks where I live, since that's all they offer in my area, so I just use the Campus Internet occasionally.
Guys can i play this game by just using disk 1? i dont wanna burn 2 dvd's for some maps ill never use, it doesnt like continue on disk 2 does it? i just wanna play the game. nawmean sons(no nerd)
Yes you can play the game just by using the first dvd. It doesn't continue on the 2nd. That's all maps man.
Also, to the individuals who were saying that this game hasn't been released yet, go to neweggs site. You can read that they have been shipping the game early.
this game is as long as halo 3 if not shorter. and i would agree with whoever said the graphics sucked, they are god awful. bungie either a: rushed this way too much or b: was trying to make a quick buck.
Yeah I agree with ya homesick, the graphics did not impress me at all. I'm wondering the same thing on why M$ made the graphics look so bad.
Sorry to upset ya guessswho... I mean the game was fun. It's always fun to play a new story in Halo (well for me that is). To me it just looked like they downgraded graphics or something. Who knows...
interesting cause i thought the opposite. i thought the in-game graphics were slightly better than h3. i only played for about an hour last night and had a great time with it. i also wasn't expecting this to be the next epic chapter in the halo series either. i knew you were an odst and kinda new what i was getting into. to say this game is awful... i wonder what you guys were expecting from it?! you seem like a h fan guesswho and i wouldn't worry too much about it. i'm sure you'll enjoy the game (although i hear it's short).
Burned last night and played i have to agree the graphics are almost exactly like H3, which isnt a bad thing necessarily guesswho, dont expect too much of a visual touch up until halo reach is out in my opinion.
I'm just a big shooter guy. I love fps games, and some 3rd person (gow, etc.) I'll probably like it, but we'll see.
Can anyone help me with an issue that I'm having when I back this game up? When I go to back up disc 1 using ImgBurn I keep getting an error.I have tried to back up this game two times. Which is a waste of time as the discs don't support that burn speed. From the ImgBurn log: - Which is why the disc is actually burning at 4X when you select the slower speed: - I dunno who wrote that guide that said you should burn at 2.4X all the time, but it's not good advice.
