halo2launcher-wont load maps

i installed halo 2 launcher and it boots halo2 but then fails to load maps then when i put in my halo2 dvd it works fine what am i doing wrong.
First, i renamed the default.xbe in E:TDATA/4d530064/$U to default1.1.xbe then ripped the default.xbe off my h2 dvd and and named it default1.0.xbe and put it in the same place as the other default (default1.1.xbe) WUT AM I DOING WRONG i want to make it easier so i can rocket cancel when playing glitches and have 1.1 to play the extra maps plz help

 

You probably have to play Halo 2 off your harddrive for this to work. But I'm not totally possitive.

Well I'm working on a "Using the Halo Screencapture Package" tutorial and when using it, it disables the auto update. So I'll try to let you know when I finish it.

 

sounds cool so with that package that ur making will it still run the maps from the map pack? If so count me in
