I am using Handbrake to convert video's to MP4 to download on my iPad. Problem: When playing the video's on my iPad with earphones, the volume is very low and I cannot hear the video when at it's highest. Is there anyway to raise the volume when converting to MP4? I was able to do this when using DVDFab but ran into sync problems. Thanks as always.
There's an 'Audio' tab in Handbrake you can select, then the 'Advanced' button lets you increase the gain.
Plus to increase. It's a logarithmic scale (3db variance to perceive a change of volume) I think the rule is 10db to get an apparent doubling of volume.
I googled it and everything was very vague. So, this AM I am doing 2 conversions and went from 0 to 14. Will try that and see how we do. Thanks, again....
