    Hi all

I have a student and teacher edition of microsoft office 2003, a wacoom bamboo digital tablet and a problem.

Basically i can get it to write in word, but write anywhere does not work, only works if i use the drawing box thing, so whats wrong, i have no idea where to start.

Second, im looking for knowledge into handwriting recognition for office 2003, i basically want to set it up so when i write cat it will type cat, i know it can be done becaus ei have seen it, but again, no idea where to start.

Any help in either section would be appreicated

    Chris

You need a Windows XP Tablet Edition or Vista OS to get handwriting recognition through Windows. There may be a wacom bamboo driver that allows you to write on the desktop, but other than that I believe you need one of the aforementioned OS's.
