Casper XP creates an exact copy of one hard drive to another. not just exact, we're talking bootable. i use it and trust it with my life and (more importantly), my furry stuff, lol.

i love the fact that you can get a free trial out of Casper, though, ddp. i tried Ghost, but it would never boot for me. Casper worked the first time. as soon as i can get a debit card (a few months, max) i'm going to purchase the software. it's that good!

*note: it must really be great for me to purchase it, because if one were to glance at my compie, you'd see anywhere between 1 and 10 thousand dollars of "acquired" stuff :)

Casper XP doesn't copy to cd...bummer, so that means I have to create a partition to store the info.

    Damn spelling errors.

like i said, geestar, i copy from one hard drive to another. that way, if one dies or fails or whatever, i can boot up with the other and get online or whatnot. i only have the one pc i can use, so i do what i can to make sure i can always use it :)

installed, ddp, it's something like 2.98 MB on my pc. it's a really small and simple program. no idea how it copies windows so perfectly, but it does :)
