I need to copy my games from one hard drive to another. Can I just drag drop the .wad files over? Or is there something special that I need to do. Thanks in advance.

Depends what format the hard drive is in
FAT, NTFS - drag and drop
WBFS Need a game manager to do this as the computer will not see the drive in that format

I wouldn't say you could drag and drop, but you can do it pretty easy. As the previous poster mentioned you will need WBFS if you had the hard drive set up to use with USB loader (If you were playing the games off the Hard Drive). If that is case just plug your hard drive into the computer, boot up WBFS as extract the games onto the computer then use WBFS to put them on the other hard drive.

If the hard drive is formatted in FAT, NTFS, or any other file system you can just drag and drop.

I do have one concern though, You said that the hard drive had failed. If the hard drive is dead then it is very unlikely you will be able to get anything off of it.
