Ok,I'm an idiot. I tried to softmod my xbox using Ndure's softmod, but used one with an incorrect kernel code. Now, my xbox shows the flubber screen, the Microsoft logo, and then sits at a black screen, won't load any media at all. I've been told repeatedly that I need to replace the dashboard files that were changed when the softmod installed. My comp freezes/restarts any time I use the program Xplorer. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can un-paperweight my xbox?
Try the halo2 fix.. cold boot any recent (late series) live enabled game and go to live settings..(if it loads that is) that may just update the dash files and restore normality.. no network connection needed. It's worth a go first as it's a 50/50 thing.
