I have a buddy that just modded his xbox, now...is it possible to image my and his hardrive. then just flash a bios to his and put in his hard drive? or would i have to FTP everything over or let slayers evox format the drive or what? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks
are you trying to mod your xbox? if so hardmod or softmod? and the hdd to the xbox is coded so that you cant just switch them into different xboxes, but if you have a chiped xbox you can put in any xbox hard drive as long as its unlocked. but for softmod you use xboxhard drive maker to make a iso of your system files and make a disk that can formate any hard drive to work in your xbox. or xbox has to be softmode first! need any more help just ask
they are both hard modded with xecuter 2.6ce'z. I just installed the mod chip and have yet to load the bios. After I load the bios, could I put my working hard drive (loaded with games and music) and the new hard drive (un formated and un partitioned) and put them in my pc and use a program like "Drive Image" or "Partition Magic" to completly copy the loaded drive to the fresh drive? or will I have to do a complete load from my EvoX disc and transfer games over via ftp?
I've heard of people having to rebuild their xboxes by taking someone else's drive image, so I don't see why it wouldn't work - as long as you want the same config settings (ip, gateway, dns, etc.)
