I recently found a hard drive that would fit in my old fat ps2. The best kind if you ask me. So I slipped it into the back, tightened the screws and turned the playstation on. So i went into the browser and there was no sign of it. So i did some research and with the playstation hard drive from sony you need an HD advance disc. So do i need HD Advance? Or can i just use my pc and install it onto the hard drive that goes into the ps2?

What hard drive did you get?

I'm new to all of this and would like to give it a go.

This site is really bad at sticky threads. The information is scattered all over the place. I think I'll never learn how to do this.
