i have all my songs and stuff on my external hard drive... it acted up and wont read on my pc now... how can i format it so it works again without having it being read by the pc... is there a way or am i screwed?
You could try connecting it to another PC if you can and see if it reads then you can format it.... You cant format it without a PC though... If it does not work on another system then the hard drive may be a gonner....
