hard drive lost?

    hey i formated my hard drive fpr ps2 and i use my cd rom to hook up the hard drive and know i unhooked it up again know when my pc boots it says "hard drive 2 no found" hit f1 to skip or f2 to enter utilits

    i skip and and try play around wiht it windows find no new hard ware and it not in the device list

    what do i do?

    if you formatted for PS2 use it now has a PS2 master boot record and windows will be unable to detect the drive, you need to use a PS2 GUI to access it now, WinHIIP it my preferred choice.

    yes it's a GUI that allows you to access a PS2 HDD in a windows environment.

    Download it at PS2HD.com or google WinHIIP. Its a really simple and great program! Installs game really fast and doesn't kill your PS2's laser.
