i currently have two paritions on my hard drive, one with my stuff, and the other with programs and the OS. but the partition with the OS has more space than the other one, and i want the partition with music and videos to have more space. is there a way to get it so it can like transfer or adjust the space the partition has?

or use something like partition magic to adjust the partition sizes. take a look at your hd's manufacturer's site to see if it has similar performing software.

well, i have partition magic, but im not really sure how to use it. it seems really fragile to me, like last time i tried to merge two partitions, it screwed them up. does anybody know how to use it or has experience using it?

read the manual & the help section in the program. i've used it before but about 5 yrs ago & an older version at that. is not that hard to use.

Go with partition magic as ddp said, but be cautious. After numerous partition creating and merging, it eventually bit me. I have an 80gb drive on my laptop and I made a 15gb partition, now I can't merge it back due to some error. But the first time will be fine, my hdd is probably on its way anyway.
