I just got a samsung 750gb hd and tried to use it in my new p35 ds3l board. But it is not working at all. it is recognized in the bios but it does not show up in explorer. what can i do about this?

If it doesn't show up in explorer,
1.)it probably isn't partition (if it is partitioned then)
2.)it doesn't have a drive letter assigned to it.

    go to control panel\administrative tools\computer management\disk management\

when you get to that screen, just right click on your 750gb hard drive and assign a drive letter to it, that will let the drive show up on windows explorer. In most cases you don't even have to reboot.
