Hard Drive Reads but doesnt work right

    ok

    my Hard Drive

    Western digital External Hard Drive Essential Edition

    I dropped it... the reader arm Was pressing against the Disk i moved the Arm back 0.01MM or a little more... How do i continueusing this drive... it is back together.. the computer reads it as it is.. but it doesnt show up in The Disk management.. is there any way i can get it back onto the disk management

    I doubt it. Back it up and have it replaced.

    It Doesnt read properly... The info of the hard drive shows.... kinda... but no Hard drive.. how can i back it up? just wanna get info off it.. or keep using it...

    use the free "testdisk" to recover the data.

    Once the hard drive is opened, you introduced dirt particles inside, even a microspic dirt particle will crash the hard drive. Once you recover the data, consider the hard drive useless.

    i opend it in positive pressure room but a Negative pressure boxy thing...

    Got no dust... in it...
    this is how the box works first off when u put the item in it turns Positive pressure.. pushes all the Shit out... i mean ALL of it..

    then closes the Vales and that stuff.. then its good to open cause its then Negative pressure... so..
